Kevin was born in Dothan. He spent most of his early years in Eclectic, Alabama where his father served as pastor of the Eclectic United Methodist Church. Kevin accepted Christ at a children’s revival service at Wesley Chapel UMC when he was eight years old. At age 13, Kevin dedicated himself in service to his Lord and Savior. He was called to preach during his early college years.
Kevin went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in Montgomery, and graduated from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University with his Master of Divinity in the Fall of 2004.
Kevin is married to Jeannie, who is from Millbrook, Alabama. They were married in 1998 and have two beautiful boys: Noah, age 6, and Gabe, age 2.
Kevin served as Associate Pastor/Youth Director at Woodlawn UMC in 1997. He then moved to Prattville where he served as Pastor of the Peterman UMC until 1999. In June of 1999, Kevin was appointed pastor of the Elmore and Robinson Springs UMC in Millbrook, Alabama. Kevin served for four years at Elmore UMC and six years at Robinson Springs UMC prior to moving to Niceville. Kevin began his ministry at First United Methodist Church of Niceville on June 15, 2005, and serves as Associate Pastor—with worship, preaching and evangelism being his main ministry areas.
