A variety of caring services make up Congregational Care Ministries, under the direction of Rev. Herstel Carter:

Call, send cards to and visit members who have been absent for an extended time to express concern. Coordinator: Ocie Baird
Provides assistance to members of the Church family in times of crisis, grief or special needs, e.g. meals. Coordinator: TBA
Make monthly contact with members of our church via phone calls and cards to show our care and concern. Coordinator: HGC, Bev Gross, Chuck Hightower
Provide weekly support groups at the church and hosts annual Hospice Seminar. Coordinator: Sandy Gatling
Make weekly visits to individual homes, residents of assigned facilities and deliver sermon tapes and communion. Coordinator: John Macon, Mary Lou Sparks
Prepare and/or deliver sanctuary flowers to shut-ins, local hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities on Monday morning. Coordinator: Glenda Stokes
To provide counseling to individuals, couples and familes. Areas include: Marriage and Family, Alcohol Prevention, Suicide Prevention, Communication Skills, Parents, Seasons of Life Issues, Healthy Sexuality and Vocational. Coordinator: Ed Chandler; Allison Posell
September 15, 2006, Niceville FUMC established a Wellness Council. The mission of the council is to inspire, teach, and encourage all our members, attenders, and people in our community to reach their optimal level of whole personal health through nutrition, exercise, and spiritual growth.
